भारत-इंग्लैंड सीरीज : चौथा वन-डे टाई, भारत श्रृंखला हारा

लार्डस। इसे आप वक्त की मार कह लें या किस्मत का धोखा कि अच्छा खेलने के बाद भी भारत को जीत नसीब नहीं हो रही है। क्रिकेट के मक्का लार्डस में ऱविवार को खेले गये वन डे ने कई रोमांचक मोड़ दिखाये और बारिश ने लगातार तीन बार मैच को बाधित किया, बावजूद इसके भारत और इंग्लैंड के बीच ये मैच बिना किसी फैसले के समाप्त हुआ।

जिसके साथ ही अंग्रेजों ने भारत के ऊपर पांच मैचों की वनडे सीरीज में 2-0 की अजेय बढ़त हासिल कर ली और भारत टेस्ट के बाद वनडे सीरीज भी हार गया। लेकिन कल के मैच के लिए सुरेश रैना और इंग्लैंड के रवि बोपारा को संयुक्त रूप से मैन ऑफ द मैच घोषित कर दिया गया। आपको बता दें कि रैना ने कल के मैच में 84 रन बनाए और रवि बोपारा ने 96 रन बनाए थे।

गौरतलब है कि टॉस हारने के बाद पहले बल्लेबाजी करते हुए भारत ने पांच विकेट पर 280 रन बनाए। और अंग्रेजों को 281 रनों का लक्ष्य दिया था। एक बार ऐसा लगा कि मैच पर भारत की पकड़ है लेकिन रवि बोपारा की धुआंदार बल्लेबाजी ने भारत को जीतने नहीं दिया। इस मैच में बाऱिश ने भी खलनायिका रोल निभाया है। तीन बार बारिश के कारण मैच रोका गया। और डकवर्थ लुईस नियम के तहत मैच टाई हो गया। ( देखिये : स्कोर कार्ड )

सचिन वनडे सीरीज से बाहर, बद्रीनाथ टीम में शामिल

भारतीय क्रिकेट टीम के अनुभवी बल्लेबाज सचिन तेंदुलकर इंग्लैंड के साथ जारी पांच मैचों की एकदिवसीय श्रृंखला से बाहर हो गए हैं। तेंदुलकर के दाएं पैर के अंगूठे में चोट है और इससे उबरने में उन्हें चार सप्ताह का समय लगेगा। सचिन की जगह टीम में बद्रीनाथ को शामिल किया गया है।

तेंदुलकर को चेस्टर-ली-स्ट्रीट में शनिवार को खेले गए पहले एकदिवसीय मुकाबले से पूर्व चोट लगी थी। अभ्यास सत्र के दौरान लगी इस चोट के कारण तेंदुलकर बारिश के कारण रद्द किए गए उस मुकाबले के लिए अंतिम एकादश का हिस्सा नहीं थे।

भारतीय क्रिकेट कंट्रोल बोर्ड (बीसीसीआई) की ओर से जारी एक बयान में कहा गया है कि तेंदुलकर ने लंदन में सोमवार को विशेषज्ञ डॉक्टर की मदद ली, जिसके बाद उनके श्रृंखला से बाहर होने की पुष्टि हो सकी। बोर्ड ने कहा है कि तेंदुलकर का कोई स्थानापन्न इंग्लैंड नहीं भेजा जाएगा।

इसके साथ तेंदुलकर का इंग्लैंड में अपना 100वां अंतर्राष्ट्रीय शतक पूरा करने का सपना अधूरा रह गया। चार मैचों की टेस्ट श्रृंखला में तेंदुलकर शतक नहीं पूरा कर सके थे। एकदिवसीय मुकाबलों में उनके बल्ले से शतक निकलने की सम्भावना थी लेकिन अब वह भी खत्म हो गई है।

सचिन की जगह लेना मेरे लिए गर्व की बात: बद्रीनाथ

मास्टर ब्लास्टर सचिन तेंदुलकर की जगह इंग्लैंड दौरे में वनडे सीरीज के लिए टीम में बुलाए गए तमिलनाडु के बल्लेबाज सुब्रह्मण्यम बद्रीनाथ ने कहा है कि इस महानतम बल्लेबाज के बदले टीम में स्थान पाकर वह खुद को बेहद गौरवान्वित महसूस कर रहे हैं।

पैर के अंगूठे में चोट के कारण दौरे से बाहर हो चुके सचिन की जगह टीम में शामिल किये जाने की घोषणा के बाद बद्रीनाथ ने सोशल नेटवर्किंग वेबसाइट टि्वटर पर लिखा कि दूसरी बार मुझे दुनिया के महानतम बल्लेबाज की जगह भरने के लिए टीम में बुलाया जा रहा है। यह बड़े ही गर्व की बात है। हालांकि पहले यह कहा जा रहा था कि बीसीसीआई दौरे के अंतिम चरण में सचिन की जगह लेने के लिए किसी खिलाड़ी को नहीं भेजेगा लेकिन सोमवार की रात बद्रीनाथ को भेजने का फैसला किया गया।

 

बद्रीनाथ ने अपने करियर के कुल सात वनडे में से आखिरी वनडे वेस्टइंडीज के खिलाफ गत जून में खेला था। उन्होंने इन सात वनडे में 15.80 के औसत से 79 रन बनाए हैं।

फिर शर्मनाक हार, इंग्लैंड ने भारत को 7 विकेट से हराया

 इंग्लैंड दौरे पर टीम इंडिया लगातार हार का सामना कर रही है। रोजबाउल में खेले गए दूसरे वनडे में इंग्लैंड ने टीम इंडिया को 7 विकेट से हरा दिया। इंग्लैंड को भारत से 188 रनों का लक्ष्य मिला था, जिसे अंग्रेज टीम ने 3 विकेट खोकर हासिल कर लिया। इस जीत के साथ इंग्लैंड ने वनडे सीरीज में 1-0 की बढ़त बना ली है।

गौरतलब है कि इंग्लैंड दौरे में जीत के लिए तरस रही टीम इंडिया को एक बार फिर हार का सामना करना पड़ा और इंग्लैंड ने दूसरे वनडे में टीम इंडिया को 7 विकेट से रौंद दिया। पहला वनडे बारिश की वजह से नहीं खेला जा सका था। टीम इंडिया से मिले 188 रनों के लक्ष्य का पीछा करते हुए इंग्लैंड ने शुरु से ही काउंटर अटैक का हथियार आजमाया। कीजवेटर और कुक की जोड़ी ने पहले पावरप्ले का जमकर फायदा उठाते हुए, भारतीय गेंदबाजों पर हमला बोल दिया। लेकिन, विनयकुमार ने कीजवेटर को आउट करके भारत को पहली सफलता दिलाई इसके बाद अश्विन ने बेल को पैवेलियन भेजकर टीम इंडिया को दूसरी सफलता दिलाई।

हालांकि कुक और बोपारा ने तीसरे विकेट के लिए 60 रन जोड़कर मैच में इंग्लैंड को मजबूत कर दिया। बोपारा तो 24 रन बनाकर चलते बने, लेकिन कुक ने नाबाद 80 रनों की पारी खेलकर अपनी टीम को शानदार जीत दिला दी।

इससे पहले, टॉस हारकर पहले बल्लेबाजी करने उतरी टीम इंडिया को पार्थिव पटेल और अजिंक्या रहाने ने शानदार शुरुआत दिलाई। पटेल एक बाऱ फिर आक्रामक तेवर में नजर आए और ब्रेस्नन के एक ओवर में दो छक्के लगाकर उन्होंने अपेन इरादे जाहिऱ कर दिए। हालांकि, पटेल अपने इस अंदाज को ज्यादा देर तक कायम नहीं रक सके और एंडरसन की गेंद पर चलते बने। पटेल ने 28 रन बनाए जिसमें 3 चौके और 2 छक्के भी शामिल हैं।

पटेल के आउट होने के बाद भी रहाने ने रन बनाने के सिलसिले को कम नहीं होने दिया। रहाने को द्रविड़ का भी अच्छा साथ मिला और दोनों ने दूसरे विकेट के लिए 79 रन जोड़ें। द्रविड़ ने 32 रनों की पारी खेली।

इसके बाद आए विराट कोहली ज्यादा देर नहीं टिक सके और 9 रन बनाकर स्वान का शिकार बने। वहीं, कुछ देर बाद रहाने भी स्वान को रिटर्न कैच थमा बैठे। भारतीय पारी के टॉप स्कोरर रहाने ने 54 रन बनाए जिसमें 5 चौके और 1 छक्का शामिल है।

लेकिन, टीम इंडिया को अपने कप्तान धोनी से एक बार निराशा हाथ लगी। धोनी सिर्फ 6 ही रन बना सके। रैना ने मोर्चा संभालते हुए लंबे लंबे छक्के लगाए और इंग्लैंड के गेंदबाजों की जमकर धुनाई की। रैना ने 19 गेंदों पर 40 रन बनाए जिसमें 3 चौके और 3 छक्के भी शामिल थे।

रैना के आउट होने के बाद टीम इंडिया को दो और झटके लगे और भारतीय टीम निर्धारित 23 ओवर में 8 विकेट के नुकसान पर 187 रन ही बना सकी। ये स्कोर इंग्लैंड के सामने नाकाफी साबित हुआ और अंग्रेज टीम ने मैच को अपने नाम कर लिया।

हारती जा रही है टीम, धोनी के पास बहानों की कमी नहीं!

भारतीय कप्तान महेंद्र सिंह धोनी इंग्लैंड दौरे में एक के बाद एक मिल रही हार पर टीम की स्थिति को समझाते समझाते थक चुके हैं और इंग्लैंड के खिलाफ दूसरे वनडे में भी उन्हें ऐसे ही दौर से गुजरना पड़ा।

धोनी ने इंग्लैंड के हाथों सात विकेट से मिली पराजय के बाद छूटते ही कहा कि हमारे लिए बड़ा मुश्किल दिन था। मुझे लगता है कि हमने अच्छी बल्लेबाजी की और 187 रन का स्कोर टांग दिया लेकिन कुछ भी हमारे पक्ष में नहीं रहा।

गेंदबाज इस अच्छे स्कोर का बचाव नहीं कर पाए इसलिए मुझे लगता है कि अब गेंदबाजी विभाग में भी कुछ सुधार की जरूरत है। कप्तान ने कहा कि पावरप्ले ओवर काफी महत्वपूर्ण थे जब हम अपने स्कोर का बचाव कर रहे थे लेकिन परिस्थितियां हमारे पक्ष में नहीं थीं और इंग्लैंड के बल्लेबाजों ने अच्छी बल्लेबाजी की।

दौरे में इंग्लैंड के हाथों छठी हार से निराश नजर आ रहे धोनी ने कहा कि हमारे पास विशेषज्ञ गेंदबाज रह गए हैं और हम एक अतिरिक्त बल्लेबाज के बिना और पांच गेंदबाजों के साथ उतरकर खुद को सहज महसूस नहीं कर सकते।

धोनी ने कहा कि मुझे लगता है, इस दौरे में हमारे लिए कुछ भी अच्छा नहीं रहा। हम एक टीम के रूप में क्लिक नहीं कर पा रहे हैं। सीरीज में वापसी के लिए हमें अगले मैच में निश्चित ही और बेहतर प्रदर्शन कर जीत हासिल करनी होगी। दोनों देशों के बीच तीसरा वनडे ओवल में नौ सितंबर को खेला जाएगा।

ICC के डर से इंग्लिश गेंदबाजों ने नहीं फेंकी 'सीक्रेट बॉल' !

 


इंग्लैंड दौरे पर गई टीम इंडिया को हराने के लिए इंग्लैंड के खिलाड़ी नए-नए फॉर्मूले गढ़ रहे हैं। भले ही वो आईसीसी के नियमों के खिलाफ हो। टेस्ट के बाद वनडे सीरीज में भी टीम इंडिया को हराने के लिए इंग्लैंड के गेंदबाजों ने ऐसी रणनीति बनाई जो खेल भावना के खिलाफ तो थी ही आईसीसी के नियमों के भी खिलाफ थी।

अंग्रेजी अखबार 'द टेलीग्राफ' के मुताबिक इंग्लैंड के गेंदबाजों ने वनडे सीरीज के दौरान एक ऐसी गेंद फेंकने का प्लान बनाया था जो टीम इंडिया के बल्लेबाजों को हैरान कर देती। लेकिन बाद में इस प्लान को रद्द कर दिया गया। टीम मैनेजमेंट को लगा कि ये खेल भावना के खिलाफ है और आईसीसी जल्द ही इस पर बैन लगा देगी।

अखबार के मुताबिक अंग्रेज खिलाड़ियों और मैनेजमेंट का प्लान था कि दायें हाथ का गेंदबाज बॉल को बायें हाथ में लेकर दौड़ेगा और गेंद को फेंकने से ठीक पहले उसे बायें हाथ से दाहिने हाथ में लेगा। इस तरह की गेंदबाजी से बल्लेबाज अचंभे में पड़ जाएगा।

यही नहीं गेंदबाजों ने ऐसी गेंदे फेंकने की जमकर प्रैक्टिस भी की थी। लेकिन बाद में जब उन्हें लगा की ऐसा करने पर आईसीसी का डंडा भी चल सकता है तो उन्होंने बना बनाया प्लान रद्द कर दिया।

आईसीसी के नियम 42.1 के मुताबिक क्रिकेट खेल भावना और परंपरा के मुताबिक हो ये सुनिश्चित कराना टीम के कप्तान की जिम्मेदारी है।

यही नहीं, नियम 42.4 के मुताबिक गेंद को खेलने के लिए तैयार बल्लेबाज का ध्यान भटकाने की कोशिश करना गलत है। लगातार मिल रही जीत के नशे में चूर इंग्लैंड की टीम अब आईसीसीस के नियम-कानून से भी खिलवाड़ करने का प्लान बनाने में लगी है। देखना ये होगा कि आने वाले चार वनडे मैचों में इंग्लैंड की टीम इस प्लान के तहत काम करती है या नहीं।

Injury of the Indian Cricketers

The first reason may be the player’s injury. Virender Sehwag underwent shoulder injury and missed the West Indies series and even the first two test          

 matches against England and thus lack of practice and confident just proved, when in the 3^rd match, Sehwag failed to score a single run and made two golden ducks. Zaheer khan was out from the whole series as during the first test he got hamstring injury. It seems that for India only one physiotherapist is not sufficient.

England ended Sachin Tendulkar’s push for a 100th international century before wrapping up an innings victory over India in the final Test at the Oval to secure a sweep of the four-match series.

Indian bowlers though able to bowl some line and length in the first two test against England but seems lost their way totally in the 3^rd test and it was seen clearly when on the 2^nd day of the 3^rd test, England team made 372 India actually failed to get the service of their main fast bowler Zaheer Khan for the whole series and as well the tour. The Spinning king Harbhajan Singh totally flopped, taking just a wicket in the first two test matches and after that left out from the team due to stomach muscle cramp. Amit Mishra who played the 3^rd test match instead of Harbhajan also succeeds to do little with the ball. Ishant Sharma,Praveen Kumar and Sreesanth though bowled quite good in their first spells but seems failed to show the perfect spirit in long innings spell.

Lack of co-ordination in the Indian team

In the test series lack of co-ordination been witnessed under MS Dhoni’s captaincy. It seems this time he completely failed to coordinate the players and guide them. Even we saw once that the captain himself came to bowl in the Lord’s test and for that faced immense criticism from the experts and the former Indian Cricketers.

So, there is no question of exhaust ness or tiredness. But yes may be that the Indian team failed to perform with the whole team at a particular match due to injury which caused the Indian team for a flop show.

Bouncy pitches are also given a reason for the Indian Batsmen to under perform in the test matches in England. The most devastating was the spin bowling failure. England batsmen totally capitalized the Indian bowlers and as a result each and every England player got run. Even the lower order batsmen like Bresnan and Broad performed brilliantly with bats in their hands apart from the ball. Even Alistair Cook who failed to score runs managed to score 292 run in the Ist innings of the 3^rd test which completely outplayed the Indian team.

How UDRS Works??

During a Test match, each team is given two challenges per innings. A fielding team may use the system to dispute a “not out” call and a batting team may do so to dispute an “out” call. The fielding team captain or the batsman being dismissed invokes the challenge by signalling a “T” with the arms. Once the challenge is invoked, acknowledged, and agreed, the Third Umpire reviews the play. While umpires may request the Third Umpire for certain close calls such as line calls (to determine run outs and stumpings) and boundary calls, a challenge may be used in situations that may result in a dismissal: for example, to determine if the ball is a legal catch (making contact with the batsman’s bat or glove and not touching the ground before being held by a fielder) or if a delivery made the criteria for a leg before wicket dismissal (hitting the ground in line or on the off side and hitting the batsman in line with a path that would have hit the wicket). The Third Umpire then reports to the on-field umpire whether his analysis supports the original call, contradicts the call, or is inconclusive. The on-field umpire then makes the final decision: either re-signalling a call that is standing or revoking a call that is being reversed and then making the corrected signal.
